Three horses move from the trees to greet you, one a proud, black fresian stallion, leading the small group. "I, am Poseidon, king of Misty Hills. My mate, Ilinga, has recently been killed." Malice flashes within his eyes, and his voice becomes harsher as he speaks the words. It is clear he will not forgive, nor forget, and those responsible will be punished.
A young mare steps forward, chesnut, and finely built. Her face darkens at the final words of her father, before clearing. Beside her is her younger brother, a brilliant palomino. The mare speaks. "I am Thaleia, daughter of Poseidon and Ilinga. This, is De Oro Furore, my brother."
The colt makes no move to speak, his face set, and eyes without the joy of youth. Those eyes had been witness to the murder.
